We worked with TLC to help more understanding around hate crime laws, and why they harm the communities they’re claiming to help.We worked with external advisors, embedded partners, and co-designed with an advisory council to create messaging for the community, by the community.

Our participatory methods went beyond just the process; the voices and the music for these video pieces were from the TLC staff and their community.

This was a video campaign on their social media, but also included informational carousels to educate people about
the harms of hate crime laws.
